The LNWL-2 series of machines has been designed to make hexagonal mesh
wire netting of various widths and mesh sizes. When used to make wire
net belt form mesh they are able to manufacture gabions, a device used
to reinforce riverbanks or dams, or for the protection of roads and
highways from cliff or rock face erosion.
